SuperSpeed's CS206-CH 30mm shoulderless bearings are unique, custom manufactured spherical bearings with flush shoulders on both sides of the bearing. This allows additional flex in the axle to free up the rear of the kart, particularly important in the low horsepower classes, like kid kart, cadet and junior classes. Of course, the SuperSpeed™ CS206 is custom manufactured with our unique ultra-low friction seals and low viscosity oil lubricant. (Note that rather than using set screws, the CS206 bearing requires axle collars to keep the axle in place. Placing one on the inside of each bearing provides the greatest axle flex, but you may find you need or prefer to run collars on both sides of the bearing.)
All of our bearings are custom manufactured exclusively for SuperSpeed™ Racing. We start with the highest quality ceramic hybrid bearing components, including 52100 chrome steel deep groove rings, solid silicon hydride (Si3N4) polished balls and low friction polyamide cages, manufactured to C3 clearance and P6 precision. Then we go further than any other manufacturer, utilizing unique ultra-low friction, no-contact seals and low viscosity oil lubricant, eliminating up 90% of the friction of most other ceramic bearings. (Note that SuperSpeed™ bearings should be lubricated before the first use, re-lubed frequently and cleaned occasionally, depending on conditions of use, to offer the lowest friction and longest life possible.
