All SuperSpeed™ ceramic hybrid bearings come with ultra-low friction, removeable seals. These high-quality, rubber/metal seals allow you to easily remove them to clean and lubricate the bearings, when needed. (See our Tech Tip Lubricating Your SuperSpeed™ Bearings for more details on caring for your bearings.)
But even our high quality seals can become bent or damaged after repeated removal and re-installation, and may no longer adequately protect your bearings from contaminants, or worse yet, cause speed-robbing friction by rubbing on the ball bearings or the cage. But not to worry - if you need replacements, we are one of the only bearing manufacturers to make replacement seals available for our bearings. In fact, you may want to keep a couple of spares on hand, just in case.
When ordering, please be sure to select the model that fits your specific SuperSpeed™ bearing type.
Note that these seals will not fit on any bearing other than original SuperSpeed™ bearings.
